The 'Must Knows' are a long-standing free downloadable web-based source of information on the key issues facing portfolio holders such as integration, prevention and resources. They explore questions and challenges in key areas in health and adult social care from a member perspective and are updated on a rolling basis.

Induction session

If you are new to a leading role in a health and care system, this free induction session will brief you on the policy issues, look at leadership challenges for these high profile roles, and relate these to your local area. As well as hearing from a range of participants across the health and care system, you will hear about further support on offer for you and have plenty of opportunity for discussion and networking. Leadership essentials

These free two day residential sessions are an opportunity to discuss key leadership challenges, to share experiences and actively learn from each other. The next Leadership Essentials for Adult Social Care lead members will take place in Warwick Business school on 15-16 October 2020. National children and adult services conference

Organised by  ADASS, the LGA and ADCS, this annual conference is aimed at those with responsibilities for car and health, children's services, education, and related fields. NCASC 2020 will take place on 4-6 November 2020 in Manchester and will include keynote and ministerial addresses, plenary sessions by system leaders, and opportunities to hear about innovation and for networking.
